Creation of High-Performance centres of Obstetrics and Genecology within SNS
The new Decree-Law No. 1/2026 approves the establishment, on an experimental basis, of Centers of High Performance in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology (“CED-ObGin”) within the framework of the Portuguese National Health Service and further sets out the applicable legal framework.
