New organizational structure of the National Anti-Corruption Mechanism

Following the Anti-Corruption Agenda approved in June 2024, which identified institutional strengthening as a priority, Decree-Law no. 70/2025 of 29 April establishes a new organizational structure for MENAC. It introduces changes aimed at streamlining its operations, redefining its internal structure and governance model, and addressing previously identified obstacles, thereby enhancing its effectiveness and operational robustness.
