João Peixe teaches the ‘Protecting Online Journalistic Content’ workshop at the Visapress Academy
João Peixe, a partner at pbbr and head of the Intellectual Property and TMT practice groups as well as the Data Protection practice, is the trainer leading the workshop “Protection of Online Journalistic Content”, organised as part of the Visapress Academy in partnership with Gerador.
This session is dedicated to analysing the practical tools and procedures essential for protecting, monitoring and monetising journalistic content in the digital environment. Against a backdrop of rapid technological change and growing challenges in the distribution of information online, the workshop addresses key issues such as copyright, the neighbouring rights of press publishers and the legal mechanisms for combating the unauthorised use of content.
