New CNCS Regulation on the Cybersecurity Legal Framework
Regulation No. 756/2026, published in the Portuguese Official Gazette, Series II, No. 118, of 22 June 2026, lays down the implementing rules for the Cybersecurity Legal Framework (“CLF").
Adopted by the National Cybersecurity Centre ("CNCS"), the Regulation consolidates into a single legislative instrument the various matters under the RJC that required further implementing provisions, establishing the applicable requirements, procedures and other measures necessary for its practical application.
